Weeeeeeee! JAXA's new launch vehicle shoots into the sky! Everything seems to be going well so far. The rocket is at 690km (higher than the International Space Station), moving at 4km/s.

Also, can we all admire the beauty of Japan's Tanegashima Space Center launch site?

The H3 rocket launches from Tanegashima Space Center. The sea can be seen just behind the rocket launch pad.
