Thirty percent of the workers at the sole Hyundai plant in the U.S., in , have joined the United Auto Workers.

The announcement marks the third such public union drive at an automaker in the Southeast.

And it marks another step in the UAW’s push to make inroads into the region, where big business and state governments have worked together for decades to keep out.

All I can say is that back in the mid 70s, as a new hire, after 6 months, a female supervisor took dislike to me, a young woman. A union steward stepped in and saved my job, which went on to last 33 years. I was a loyal and hardworking employee. Thank you 👏😊👏

After watching execs talk about the , all I can really say is this:

If you are in tech you need a strong union.

If you are in tech you need a strong union.

If you are in tech you need a strong .

After seeing what happened at , after seeing yet another round of nonsense layoffs across so many good people at so many companies, we need unions and we need them yesterday.

If you are in a union already, build strength. We are going to need it.
