I really want this to happen but I'm worried the scales in the West will tip in the wrong direction, further toward true and open fascism... We (yes, you reading this) have a personal responsibility to be informed and speak out as best we can. This history is not yet written — we have to write it.
I don't think that's going to happen. Israel gets it's "mystique" from the fact it is surrounded by enemies and any strategic mistake can mean it's destruction. Also sure, this horrible mass murder and genocide they are committing is just beyond savage and utterly inexcusable, but I don't think any serious journalist could say they were not capable of it before the hamas attack. They have literally been doing it for more than half a century.
This will not be their downfall, this is what they are and always have been.
