Sorry I've not been online much yesterday since heading to Cuijk. It's been a busy day, but also some relaxing...
Went to Cuijk with Arwen, had a walk with a friend and Arwen had a swim for her birthday. My parents came, we packed some fragile things in their car, mum stayed at the apartment with Arwen to clean it some for the viewing on Tuesday. Dad and I went to Herpen and, with loads of efforts, we hung the bedroom curtains!! I was sooooo happy! 😁
And we hung two lights, one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom.
The system the new house uses is way different from the "old houses" systems, which makes it a big challenge to hang lights.
Also, many parts of the walls and ceilings are so tough that a normal drill, even on the "hammer setring" isn't getting in it... 😔 So that's very challenging to try and hang something....
So dad and I have been busy with the curtains and two lights while mum did loads of work to clean the apartment best she could. And she did a fabulous job!! I still have loads of stuff to sort out and take to Herpen, but with some drives with Skoosh, I should be able to empty it well enough.
Getting out the plugs will be a big challenge, as many break and I just don't have loads of strength in my hands. So if it doesn't work, I'll just pay the fine (I think it's €45) for not having them all out, and I'll let the building coop hassle with them instead... 🤔
Sooooo today I have the viewing of the apartment at 11 and the PT at 14. So Arwen will be alone for a few hours. Beat make sure to get some good walkies before I leave. 🐾 💜
I'm at the gym now, let's see about some notifications before I hit some cardio! 💪🏼
