Judge rescinds permission for Trump to give closing argument at his civil fraud trial ( www.wdsu.com )

Donald Trump won't make his own closing argument in his New York civil business fraud trial after his lawyers objected to the judge's insistence that the former president would stick to “relevant” matters.

From another article:

Judge Arthur Engoron told Trump’s attorneys that the former president must submit to certain restrictions if he wished to address the court [...] Trump would have to limit his statement in court to “what is permissible in a [lawyer's] closing argument, that is, commentary on the relevant, material facts that are in evidence, and application of the relevant law to those facts.”

He had to agree to those limits before a given deadline in order to speak - and that deadline was extended three times. He had a chance, but he can't bear the thought that he won't be able to make it a political speech and incite hatred against the judge and his law clerk.

Why does he have such a boner for this law clerk? What did I miss?

They probably said something like "It's bad to wanna fuck your daughter" and Trump just couldn't let such words slide.

The judge didn't rescind shit, he stipulated that Trump needed to agree to a quick summary of what was admissable content, which he has none of. Hence, he gets to shut the hell up for [n]once in his garbage life
