I think the amulet of yendor is originally from Nethack. You can also find it in Pixel Dungeon and Noita, and probably others.

that's OpenBlade's - sorry, +0 orcish short sword's, favorite extension. But I saw it output audio in .opus too.

Was the amulet of Yendor also in Rogue? Never played that, I know it from Nethack, that's as close to old school Rogue as I go.
