Most people will be unaffected ('cos their instance already has a copy), but trippingthroughtime has a broken outbox, so it won't come with old posts if it's a fresh discovery. Issue should be fixed in Lemmy's 0.19.4 update.
!nowhereelsetoshare has a broken outbox (no posts if you're the first person from your instance to visit). The Issue was recently fixed, so hopefully the fix will be included in 0.19.4 (and all instances on .3 upgrade to that when it comes out).
Just bad luck I think. The convo on the bug report suggests the problem stems from a user making a post, and then the user being deleted (voluntarily or involuntarily).
Hello. This data is sourced from lemmyverse.net, which uses its own crawler, distinct from the lemmy-stats one. The underlying issue is likely the same, so I've filed a bug here (past experience suggests that the dev won't be that quick responding to it though)
The instance I'm on is defederated from links.hackliberty.org. I'm not certain why, but I looked at it to find it's a place for conspiracy theories, including '9/11 Truth' stuff, so it's probably that.
There looks to be a bit of indecision about the right instance for a new 'privacy' community, so I'm just mentioning this in regard to that.
The crawler at lemmyverse.net has picked up on an ngrok URL I've used for messing around with Lemmy. I was using it last night to play with PieFed, and saw it make about 20 attempts to read an API that isn't there. I thought - oh, I wonder if that will break it - and sure, enough, there wasn't a 6:00 update from it this morning. Ho hum.
The bot at lemmyverse.net has been failing, so these results are over 2.5 days.
The 'Native Mastodon Posts' community won't feature on lemmyverse.net, unless I can be bothered to write a proper API server, so I popped it on the end of the list 'cos it's the new thing I've been working on, but it won't always be there.
This is helpful to see. I've gotten to that screen many times before and I often give up because I can't be bothered to find a community the only other way I know how -- through search with the "!" and everything.
Glad to see I can wait and refresh. I can handle that workload.
