We thought that we were unlikely to see the green dancer that night because of the weather.

We were wrong.

A photo of a night scene, almost completely filled by the sky. It's dark and some stars can be seen on the right, but a bank of heavy cloud is draped over the left side from top centre to bottom left. Peeping out from behind the cloud is a strong band of green aurora with feathery streaks climbing towards the top of the shot.

    Aww, wow Mo. We didn't get to see the NL when we visited in Feb 2021. Heading off to Northern Norway in October this tear. Fingers crossed we'll see them then
