6% suddenly seems quite important when it's the only power being generated at that point in time... Could always take the South African approach and have scheduled rolling blackouts if demand gets too high in future though... 😜

Both sad and happy news. On the one hand, it's to reduce nuclear waste as this will recycle more (stainless) steel that would otherwise end up with the nuclear waste. On the other hand it's needed because of all those unnecessarily decommissioned nuclear powerstations 🙁
@Emil Currently 57% of all uranium globally is retrieved using ISL. This will further raise the number, further decreasing the footprint of uranium mining.
