As part of the memory management changes expected to be merged for the upcoming Linux 6.11 cycle is allowing more fine-tuned control over the swappiness setting used to determine how aggressively pages are swapped out of physical system memory and into the on-disk swap space....

I've been using VMware for about two decades. I'm moving elsewhere. KVM appears to be the solution for me....

Recently switched from windows 10 to Debian 12.5 bookworm since I have a unique setup (Nvidia 2070S GPU, 2 1080p monitors, Dell Canvas, and TV) and the default inclusion of Nvidia proprietary drivers and years of Wacom support have made everything workable (nearly out of the box!)....

Pi-Hole and similar DNS adblockers just seem like a hassle. I can't tell my parents to buy a raspi, flash it, install and configure pi-hole, configure their routers or devices to point to the raspi, and do all of that from another city....
