What are your sources for that? In order for Israel to attack the Bakaa valley through Jordan it has to pass not far from the well-defended Damascus. And generally in Syria that is covered by anti-aircraft radars.
(That said, I have not seen any report about 30 civilians killed)
Israel launched its deadliest strikes in months on Aleppo province in northern Syria early Friday morning
The Syrian Defense Ministry said the Israeli strikes hit several areas in the southeastern part of Aleppo province around 1:45 a.m., killing several civilians and soldiers.
Israel has stepped up airstrikes in Syria against both Lebanon's Hezbollah militia and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps since the Iranian-backed Palestinian group Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7, and in recent days its pilots have resumed regular training for "deep" raids into Lebanon.
The Israeli military declined to comment. In a post on X, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said Israel's attacks on Syria were a "blatant and desperate attempt" to expand the war, without saying whether there had been Iranian casualties. @palestine@israel
During the night, the Israeli Defense Forces conducted an attack on Syria from the airspace above Jordan. The city of Aleppo and its surroundings were targeted. According to Reuters, 36 civilians and Syrian Arab Army soldiers lost their lives in the raid.
I don't trust Syrian sources blindly. IIRC there are also sources that report in the name of the Syrian Opposition (from London) and tend to have reasonably good reports regarding whatever happens in Syria.
