Season 1 (Series 14) Episode 7: "The Legend of Ruby Sunday" (spoilers) ( lemmy.world )

Well that was a blast from the past...

Following a fakeout where it's theorized that the mysterious woman popping up in episode after episode may be the long lost Susan Foreman (last seen in the episode "The Five Doctors" in 1983), it turns out they were the villain Sutekh, last seen in the episode "Pyramids of Mars" in 1975.

Maybe it just caught me on a good day but I enjoyed this one despite the lame Tom Marvalo Riddle/I am Lord Voldemort Rowling retread reveal.

Edit: Mrs. Flood is definitely The Master, though, right? 😆

Could be the Rani as well..

HollandJim ,

Or, it could be Susan. They know about the Tardis, and they’ve been pretty passive about interactions with the doctor or Ruby. And unlike a lot of people on other forums, not making tea is not necessarily evil. It’s rude, but it’s not evil.

Indeed!

CrabAndBroom ,

Or maybe River, somehow?

Taleya ,

Sutekh is one of those villains I've always felt was hyped more than he was. I mean yeah, omnicidal maniac from an insanely advanced civilisation, but I wouldn't put him above the goddamn Toymaker.

Fenric would have been a better fit.

Or the Rani.

Taleya ,

Rani's Flood you silly rabbit

aeronmelon ,

that Gordon Ramsey meme

"Finally, some delicious Doctor Who."

(I'm half-kidding, 73 Yards was also amazing.)
