Bookshops & Bonedust was very enjoyable though Legends & Lattes remains my favourite between the two. That's not the reason why it took me since November to finish it, I've just fallen out of my audiobook phase and still need time to get back into it.
I find the older Viv a little more interesting still, her new life and challenges. That's why the end of B&B was actually quite satisfactory.
This weekend I'm starting a buddy read for Dostoyevsky's Notes from the Underground - a completely different read but one I'm just as hopeful of liking. I need to read The Idiot and will be done with his bigger book but I'm not ready for such a lengthy read at the moment. A nice compromise, if you will.
