Working on really cool old LIFE magazines. This photo hit home today, 62 years after it's publication. Our shop was already about 23 years old when this magazine was new.

A picture of a large black and white photo across two pages of a February 2, 1962 "LIFE" magazine. In the photo, a young man with short dark wavy hair, wearing thick rimmed glasses, a light-colored collared shirt, a dark cardigan sweater, dark trousers with cuffs, white socks, and black Oxford shoes, sits crouched forward on a padded seat with chrome legs, reading a thick magazine, as follows:
"128 pages of Tax Information that can save you money. NEW EXPANDED EDITION. $1 America's Favorite INCOME TAX GUIDE. The Tax Digest, Inc. New York."
Most of the, then New, comics have a cover price of twelve cents. Titles and characters visible in the photo include:
Woody Woodpecker, "GIRLS' ROMANCES," BATMAN, "Walt Disney's DONALD DUCK ALBUM," Dennis the Menace, "SUPERBOY," "Playful LITTLE AUDREY," "LIFE with Archie," King Leonardo, Barbie, Looney Tunes, Baby Huey, Archie Comics "LAUGH," "MYSTERY IN SPACE," "WORLD'S FINEST," "Mickey Mouse," "Huckleberry Hound," Bugs Bunny, "UNCLE $CROOGE," "Adventure Comics," "Archie's MAD HOUSE," "SUPERMAN'S PAL Jimmy Olsen," and more.
