I felt like there were parts of this book I endured, and parts I enjoyed.
I don’t hate that there were shitty imperfect people in the story, and that the main character was so uncertain and eager to please that it was both secondhand embarrassing and painfully relatable. I also liked the over arching premise of the story.
Did I need to read another book about the dismal future of the planet? Probably not - but I did it anyway. @bookstodon
