Okay, so as I mentioned earlier, I just got diagnosed with combination type ADHD. I've done a lot of research and have read some books regarding adults with ADHD, but I'd love to reach out to the community here with any advice or recommendations y'all have. I tend to over-research everything and don't necessarily know where to start on what might help best. I will start stimulant medication tomorrow...

@BeAware Thank you! I appreciate this! I was always a little concerned that medication would "change" me and I wouldn't like how I felt on it. But, I decided to ultimately try. If it doesn't help, I'll go with my doctor from there. But I'm so curious what life may be like with my brain being even slightly less all over the place!

Thankfully I already write things down all over the place and have been writing out daily schedules for myself
