You know, it doesn’t make sense that humans first assumed animals didn’t have feelings. It’s illogical. All animals including fish and bugs are sentient. No animals wants to die for your consumption. Period. Full stop.

@otterX This matches my thinking exactly, I don't think it's wrong per se to eat an animal if your survival depends on it as that's kind of how nature works. I personally just don't feel I can justifiably eat animals when it's easy for me not to and it has better outcomes for people, animals and the planet.

Between you, me, and the devil in the deep blue sea; since outside rats are on birthControl, I give Annie some treats when I see her. She loves it, I mean who doesn’t. lol Then from the kitchen door window, I hear others join her and squeaking in joy. That makes me happy. 🥹🥰💕🐀🐀✨

@otterX well it's certainly more humane than population control methods that rely on killing animals. People should always have access to birth control if they want it much more happiness that way : )
