Since then, we've approved debt relief for 4.75 million Americans through various actions.

My Administration's new proposals include authorizing the cancellation of runaway interest and debt for those who began repayment 20 or 25 years ago.

If finalized, these plans – coupled with steps we've taken – would benefit 30 million borrowers.
