    @dillyd wow this is on point as I was just installing shelves for DVD/BD/CD and wondering do I really need to anchor them. No worries, I did :)

    @dillyd yeah and it’s so narrow that it’s almost impossible to have the shelf really stick to the wall

    @dillyd we’re lucky that we had a bunch of IKEA Billy shelves before they decided to stop making them. They were getting more empty to a point we almost threw them away and then the streaming wars happened. They got a second life, though the sun has changed them forever. For new stuff you can look up Nexera, made in Canada, pretty strong but it’s only half wall height (although no longer available at HD and seems sold out on the company’s site, hopefully temporary)

    @dillyd @stephanie @meganL it has been outdated for 20 years or so? Why would we need a way to differentiate a wedded woman, it is creepy and sexist.
