@RikerGoogling What if you’re just an amalgamation of writer’s room machismo/protective instinct/sense of duty, with an actor’s interpretation of needing to swing his own gammy hip over furniture, shouting resolutely with upturned eyes, once it’s time to show some executive chops, and making anything from evident distraction to woo-woo eyes at any fellow actor made up in anything close to 90’s “female” costuming and makeup (which includes unwanted advances toward frozen holograms in their own series finale holodeck “bottle show” cuz it’s gotta be all about you, Will, oh fellow cishet white guy of whom I’m painfully aware).
[All due respect to what little I know of said actor; on the memorability of the character, even giving him some non-skeezy elder relation vibes when depicted (and acted) as decades older; on those directorial efforts I’ve recognized & not been blown away by but found perfectly serviceable; and on gamely asking a zillion goofy premise questions while hosting another show, which needed someone to supercut them to be truly gain meme status.]
