  1. Turn on "Advanced Data Protection"
  2. Turn off iCloud services for apps that don't need it like Mail and Calendar
  3. Turn off Location Services for apps that don't need it

This is the problem — yay, capitalism! — when you rely on one super affordable country to make so much of what the world consumes, and then that country turns out to be a place you maybe don’t want to have ALL your stuff made any more.

There are alternative producers, but they’re more expensive. Which is at direct odds with the economic model that chose China in the first place.

It’s cheaper or it’s more safe, and we want it both ways.
