  • One timeline only with images
  • Second timeline only with videos
  • Third timeline with both (images and videos) sorted by timestamp

@dansup sorry... you are not on matrix anymore... so i have to write here.

you promised, to the end of last week, you will fix the federation-problem with friendica.
I've just updated my pixelfed-instance an comments from friendica are still not shown on pixelfed.

and... why don't you create a new matrix-room for pixelfed?

I'm trying to pay my Virginia income taxes online, and they have disabled paste in any field of consequence. Paste in a password? Nope. Your bank's routing number? You're gonna have to hand-key that. Your bank account number? You better believe you're typing that in.

If you wanted to force people to create crappy passwords and cause them to accidentally siphon money out of strangers' bank accounts, this is how you'd do it. And somebody went to extra effort to make it be like this!

And you can run vaultwarden as Backend to bitwarden-apps/addons yourself in a container. Also at home... just sync your devices, ehen you are at home.

@dansup @stux @pixelfed so is this going to be like shorts on YouTube or like TikTok’s??? I wonder if there could be a way to link accounts so your shorts (loops) show up in your Peertube feed.

Liebe hier im Fediverse.

Ich würd mir so sehr wünschen, dass ihr endlich einmal ordentlich vom Fediverse berichtet.

Z.B. Peertube...
Es gibt mittlerweile doch einige User, die ihre Youtube-Channels hier posten... in alter Gewohnheit von der anderen Welt.

Doch das müsst ihr nicht.

Ihr könnt von einem Peertube-Channel automatisiert euren Youtube-Channel synchronisieren lassen. Außer einmal einrichten (die Url im Sync-Dialog angeben) müsst ihr nix weiter machen.

Und dann?

Ja dann geht die Gaudi erst so richtig los.

Man kann nämlich von Friendica, Pleroms, Calckey, Hubzilla, Mastodon (aaaaaahhhhh endlich, da ist es endlich!!!!) und vielen anderen Services aus dem Fediverse dann den Peertube-Channel abonnieren.

Und was das bringen soll?

Ganz einfach:
Du publizierst ein Video auf Youtube. So wie du es immer machst.
Kurz darauf ist es auf Peertube auch verfügbar.
Und dann wird es an alle Follower deines Peertube-Channels geteilt.
Die haben dann das Video in ihrer Timeline auf Friendica, Pleroma, Akkoma, Misskey, Mastodon (aaaaaaaahhhhh endlich ist es wieder da) und könnrn sofort liken, sharen und kommentieren.
Und das beste ist, die Kommentare und Likes gehen direkt zum Peertube-Video.

Manche Dienste, so wie Friendica kannst du so einstellen, dass du deinem eigenen Peertube-Channel folgst und alle Beiträge automatisch teilst.

Das wiederum bedeutet:
Du lädst auf YT ein Video hoch, und kurz darauf haben deine Follower (nicht die von PT, sondern die deines Hauptaccounts) das Video in ihrer Timeline und können liken, sharen und kommentieren. Direkt am Peertube-Video... ganz ohne Peertube-Account.

Ich würd mir wünschen, dass ihr sowas auch einmal berichtet.

Bald ist Ostern. Da darf man sich ja was wünschen.
