Playing Asteroids projected onto a hill a few hundred metres away with a FRICKIN LASER BEAM was a truly remarkable experience. Thank you @seb_ly! ❤️🙌

I was so excited I forgot to add the video! This is a single 7.5W laser running at 30kHz sample rate, the tracking is essentially a travelling salesman algorithm. Oh and the laser control software is all Seb’s too. Go check out Seb’s work! Truly terrific stuff https://seblee.co

A video at night looking over some grass and miscellaneous tents toward a dark hill top. From the top left of shot there is what appear to be several tightly focused light beams. The video zooms a little to reveal the angular graphics of the 1979 game Asteroids being played on the hill, which is a few hundred metres away. You can hear pew pew sounds and clicky controller noises and also some miscellaneous background chatter
