If you view changing documentation to use generic “they” instead of “he” text as too political to be acceptable, then I’m sorry but your project is deeply unserious.

“The generic user is a man” is a deeply political statement, and hiding behind “we’re apolitical” is bullshit.

Been living in the bay area since 2014 and this is the first time I've flown out of an SFO A gate since 2007?

@mjg59 ironically, most of my (six?) flights last year didn’t go from that gate; I think we only once actually used the direct boarding line

@mjg59 you’re wrong; it’s a triple jetway gate precisely for the A380 (and I believe A11 is the only other A gate with three jetways, but that I’m less sure about that)

@mjg59 I feel like I noticed that once when I made it to the lounge before the plane did, too. I forget where it was marshalled to, maybe just the ultimate stop line at the end?

@djcapelis @mjg59 Now I'm wondering where on earth I've mixed this up with, because I definitely recall a lounge seemingly identical to the SFO one with three jetways. And I haven't flown on A380s from many US airports, so I'm just confused. Maybe I've just merged memories of different trips from SFO?

@djcapelis @mjg59 BA also has direct boarding from the lounge at BOS, but as is typical of east coast transatlantics it’s frequent services, and nothing as large as an A380
