How much activities are warming climate in 2024

Using scientific datasets, the project applies stats to calculate contributions in 2024.

Energy is notably extracted by investor-owned companies based in NATO countries. The biggest corporate contributors are ExxonMobil, Shell, BP. The carbon-equivalent flux is 5.6 G/year.
Instead following The Paris Agreement countries should decrease annual output by 2% every year.

Trends of Greenhouse Forcing from 1998 to 2024 Each activity sector has a different colour and size. Dots represent greenhouse gases sent into the air (in G/year) as observed. Lines represent lid gas sent into the air (in carbon-equivalent-tons per year) as predicted. A band and a line of "requested slope" indicate not the levels but the trend of 2%/year at which emissions should decrease ("to limit climate warming"). A plot of CO2-equivalent throughput shows land-use change responsible for around 25 G/year. This is the highest level of our eight activity sectors.
