A special Friday favorite Kindle ebook on sale (other sites might be on sale too):

Dweller on the Threshold by Skyla Dawn Cameron $2.99
https://www.amazon.com/Dweller-Threshold-Skyla-Dawn-Cameron-ebook/dp/B09FFLM171

A fascinatingly scary story where the cats are completely FINE.

The author is having problems w/ people pirating this book which is taking $ away from caring for her own cats--so please consider taking a look. I really enjoyed it 🤓

@ElizabethLeeCo @horror @bookstodon I’m about 1/3 of the way through and it’s such a fun read so far! Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll have to check out some of the author’s other works.

Finished listening to https://chokepointcapitalism.com by Rebecca Giblin and @pluralistic and can’t decide whether to be angry or depressed by the state of things. I know it’s supposed to end on a hopeful note but that’s not how my brain works.

@pluralistic Feels like a small thing, but I’ve been trying to shift to alternatives that (I hope) better compensate creatives: Libro.fm for audiobooks, Bandcamp+Apple Music for music, hardcovers (often signed) from small indie bookstores. Not sure what to do for ebooks other than direct epub sales or @WeightlessBooks.
