Nr.1 Final Fantasy VII Remake

It took me several attempts since release. It's a great remake with some epic moments, the visuals are beautiful, the ATB combat is satisfying - but it's not without flaws: the level designs are very linear, the story is simple and the flow of action is often abruptly stopped by unskippable animations where Cloud seems to be wading trough molasses. That being said I still have high hopes for a modern FFVII Rebirth.

:lego_brick_red: When did LEGO become a shadow currency? 🤔 Apparently a few years ago. Investing in LEGO is now more lucrative than gold and it's more inflation-proof than cash with the value of unopened sets rising by 11% annually (according to some reports). Maybe I should hold on to our sons Ninjago sets? 🤔

🚋 In fährt ab heute eine Tram mit den Warming Stripes von Prof. @ed_hawkins
Die Streifen sollen auf einfache Weise die Erderwärmung begreifbar machen - je mehr rot, desto heißer die Jahrestemperaturen. 2023 war weltweit das bisher wärmste Jahr.

Die Klima-Tram ist eine Initiative der Stadt, der LVB und des Bündnis Leipzig für's Klima mit den @s4f_le und weiteren Gruppen.

Video einer Tram, die vollflächig mit "Warming Stripes" oder auch "Klimastreifen" beklebt ist. Auf der Bahn steht vorne "Sonderfahrt". Die Seiten sind in großen Buchstaben beschriftet mit "Das lässt niemanden kalt: Die Erderwärmung" Die Klimastreifen repräsentieren die durchschnittlichen Jahrestemperaturen und ergeben einen Farbverlauf von hellblau über blau und hellrot zu dunkelrot. Rot entspricht den heißesten Temperaturen. Die Bahn fährt innerhalb von 20 Sekunden langsam an und von links nach rechts aus dem Bild. Super Sache! Ob man aufgrund der Fahrrichtung die Darstellung lieber "verkehrt herum" hätte draufmachen sollen? So sieht es für Oma Erna aus, als würde alles in einer Eiszeit enden 😉
