Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today not to mourn the loss of Jerry's refrigerator, but rather to celebrate its life.

@jerry Did you try to turn it off and back on again?

I joking ask this question because 8 years ago I had a refrigerator stop working while I was out of town. I power cycled it when I got home and it immediately started to work.

I still purchased a new refrigerator but I moved the one that failed to my basement to be used for drinks and an overflow.

Somehow it has not had a single issue since.

If you're ever interested in monitoring your refrigerator or freezer using a Raspberry Pi and a few affordable sensors let me know and I can send you what I put together. Since I travel a lot this provides great piece of kind.
