Mutually Assured Destruction, a simple homebrew rule for I've been enjoying so much I wrote a blog post about it.

A nugget of game design based on Colvillain philosophy:

  • Missing sucks
  • Nat 1's turn your heroic fantasy character into a goober
  • Slow combat is boring

It's been a fun, dramatic change to 5e combat at my table, and I'd love to hear what you think and if you'll be trying it!
