You can't have a general strike until you have deep on-the-ground organizing, which you don't have. Less calling for general strikes on social media with no understanding of what that means or what that would take

Hint: if your workplace isn't organized, you won't get a "general" strike. Not here.

More baking your neighbors a pie, more talking to your coworkers, more getting involved in politics.

@hrefna there’s a whole lot of “you” and “your” in that statement. If it’s not “our” and “ours”, then why are you telling some group you don’t consider yourself a part of what to do?

How about instead of blaming everyone center of left, you blame centrists and conservatives for the need for a bake sale in the first place?

The term didn’t exists until Trump called the Charlottesville counter-protesters “alt-left” to falsely equate to their own violence and hate.
