The Kansas Republican Party hosted a fundraiser last Friday

During which, attendees could pay to assault an effigy of President Biden

Remember when simply criticizing Trump or Bush policies would trigger the right—causing them to scream “it’s unamerican to disrespect the president!”

These are deplorables

🇺🇸

Large republicans kicking a punching dummy dressed up like the sitting president of the United States. One of the most bland “come together” moderates and they’re this triggered.

@flexghost They literally did that in Russia (set up a dummy the public was encouraged to attack).

Any tips for dealing with hayfever in Japan? The over-the-counter claritin does... zero. I was hoping it might pass in a week or so, but I remain a goopy mess.

I could... visit the doctor... but that seems like a lot of hassle compared to just asking everyone on mastodon 😉

(Japan medicine tends to be different brands, and often weaker, than the overseas counterpart. I know what I could get in the UK or US, but unsure if there's anything reasonably effective in Japan.)

@elizabethtasker Can you get Xyzal? It's really effective, and so's fluticasone nasal spray (flonase or generic equivalent).

@elizabethtasker Too bad, thought there might be a generic OTC option at least.
