I'd be worried that using something like that would just encourage the extra spicy behavior, with the cat thinking it's acceptable.

We were changing office buildings and were packing our desks for the move. They have us boxes and bags for everything. The bags were oddly large, which I commented on by saying "these bags could fit a small child". Apparently some people took offense at that, as I was later sent up to HR to explain myself.

    Too many duplicate posts because of people cross posting the same content to all the duplicate channels across all the federated servers. I regularly see 5 duplicates in a row while browsing. It's very annoying.

    Well, caching content is not the same as copying it.

    A cache is literally a local copy.

    Fighting legal challenges requires lawyers, even if you are in the right. Lawyers are crazy expensive.

    You do if you get sued because you missed something. It's not like lemmy world can moderate every post from every server. Any single user can get any federated community's content pulled locally just by subscribing.
