If you are building a social application that is NOT a microblogging application, why would one choose #ActivityPub? What concrete advantages—not theoretical nor dependent on the rest of the world changing—does it give you?

The answer is clear : you can interact with the whole Fediverse and with any other account on the microblogging applications. I'm really delighted to be able to follow some Wordpress blogs from my mastodon account or some #writeas or #writefreely blogs. And when I am active on #Bookwyrm, I'll find it really worthwhile to reach any interrested follower on any other application.
