My queen is very skittish and if there is a loud nose or vibrations she runs out of her nest and tries to hide in the water feeder. Only she is much too large for this to work. Poor girl.

a predator would note the delicious and nutrition rich abdomen is totally unprotected!

Whenever she does this I just think "oh girl... that's not gonna work..."

Can't leave the best part hanging out like that...

But I think she feels better with her head in the dark. Not getting any honorary degrees from any colleges this one.
