Steve Albini, #Nirvana producer & #AltRock royalty, dies at 61

#SteveAlbini, a #Chicago-based #rock #producer allied w/ Nirvana & against the #corporatized #MusicIndustry, has died of a heart attack, per Taylor Hales, the manager at Albini’s studio Electrical Audio Recording.
Albini got the best from many notable #AlternativeRock acts of the 1980s & ’90s, including the #Pixies & the #Breeders. He also played in the bands #Shellac & #BigBlack.
