My opinion.
You don't take facts to a knife fight and then don't have live fact checking. Shame on CNN. It's not about this old guy or that fat liar. It's about right vs wrong, truth vs criminal, fascism vs democracy. There was nothing to debate. We either survive this or we don't. Harping about Biden's age and not donald's is because Biden's next in command is a Black woman. The fact that donald can even be a candidate is a travesty to the nation. Shame on us.

I don't know how they do it, but Corel Draw has been consistently advertising itself with graphics that appeal to people who have no sense of aesthetics. Amazing.
Other than their "showcase pieces" I've only ever seen uglier vector art in CC0 libs.
I think it must be deliberate. That or people who make this software never worked with good artists.
I'm sorry to whoever made this drawing but it really looks to me like a project of a very talented 12-year old.

@unfa I love but you are totally right.

@claudius I had to learn it for a job, and I wasn't hating it, but I thought it had a lot of oddities to it. I suppose it's due to a long legacy.
It seems to be very widely used in Poland among marketing companies. I don't know why :D
At least you can buy a one-time license and just use it forever, unlike with Adobe's golden leash.

@radiofreearabia @palestine those are really villains - have tyrannic regimes that outlaw and eliminate any opposition. They attack neighbors and steal their land. They fund puppet terrorists that steal the whole countries. But that still counts as Direct Military Aggression by UNGA 3314 art. 3, g) so it still looks like "Iran invaded Yemen and Iraq and Lebanon, they're evil"

Helgi ,
@Helgi@101010.pl avatar

@radiofreearabia @palestine instead some dictators really look out of touch, like Putler declared some 20% of Ukraine part of Russia, started with Crimea! He could then declare Alaska the same way and the US bomb Russia into the stone age. There's also Maduro, wants to steal half Guyana, steal their OIL! And Assad, he looks the least criminal. Only bombed plenty of civillians and such, and gassed rebels with sarin

It's a huge global Hamas propaganda campaign and has become entrenched as the dominant narrative at the media level so it"s too late to shut it down. We can continue to expose it, though, for what little platform exposure we may have.

"Shut down the extremists controlling the Israel-Gaza narrative"

"People cling to simplistic narratives, unable to hold multiple truths — that both innocent Israelis and innocent Palestinians are suffering."

@banned_tweets_of_john_cusack @palestine It is incredible how openly corrupt and dishonest the NYT were in their attempt to drum up false allegations to smear Hamas. They overtly acted as an agent for the Netanyahu Govt. Why are they not registered as an agent of a foreign power, because that is clearly what they are.

This is also the reason why many people fall for it blindly and also why it is a secure income for those who sell it but are not necessarily sure what they are selling.

[Amal Oraby (أمل عرابي)] / 3 Reasons to be Optimistic About the preliminary Ruling

1 / by accepting the case and hearing South Africa's arguments that Israel is violating international law, the Court shattered 's project to deny Palestinian nationhood. The Court affirmed there is a Palestinian people with equal rights.

2 / the Court's decision provides legal ammunition for demanding a . This is now not just an unrealistic moral demand but follows international legal norms to minimize suffering.

3 / is now under increased global scrutiny that exposes the less flattering realities of decades of and siege policies. Israel will have to reckon with the past, present and future consequences of its actions.
This shifts the calculus for other post-colonial peoples to demand justice for Palestinians as connected to their own struggles. A new political project is needed in Israel to change realities rather than deny them.
