Cancelled my Prime Music subscription as I've been using Plex more for listening to my personal CD collection (especially since discovering PlexAmp), plus Prime rarely if ever suggested anything new to listen to so i thought if i'm just going to listen to the same stuff all the time i may as well just own the physical media and rip it to my Plex server. I also just bought the Now 40 years CD sets to fill out the range of Pop songs on my server as it was heavily weighted towards other Genres.

First time ripping “Now That’s What I Call Music” compilation albums and that was a bit of a pain in the arse. I Used to rip the CDs, it recognised all the tracks but for some reason couldn’t figure out what albums they belonged to and ended up dumping them haphazardly in two folders regardless what volume/disc the track was from. Likewise, also could not parse that there were multiple volumes and lumped them all together so I had to do a bit of manual fannying about.

It’s odd because recognised the tracks and what album/disc they belonged to during the ripping process but then the library and files just ended up as a mess. likewise is aware that these tracks, discs and volumes exist but cannot match them properly using the automated process.
