Well, that was an amusing but sinister experiment getting an AI FaceSwap set-up running on my PC. Of course, the implications are wide open for what one might describe as revisionist media- where identity and intention is fungible and endlessly manipulable. In a sense everyone is faceless to the AI fiend, and the face as a biometric identity marker will rapidly become worthless. It will be interesting to explore this further by replacing the soundtrack entirely and developing new dialogue with artificial voices and lip sync.
