SCOTUS dragging its feet on a decision about Trump’s ludicrous immunity claim is a stain on the court that cannot be washed out. It will be written and talked about for centuries to come. Shame on John Roberts and the Right-wing justices.
Clarence Thomas doesn’t feel any shame for accepting more than $4M in “gratuities” since becoming a Supreme Court justice because he doesn’t think that’s a lot of money, and that he’s really entitled to a lot more. He thinks he deserves to be a billionaire.
Reps. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) told MSNBC they want to impose on Supreme Court justices the same cap on gifts that members of Congress are subject to.
Said Raskin: “We want a $50 gift ban for justices. They make $300,000 a year. Pay for your own lunch and vacation.”
