This is the final jacket for the "Light Wash Denim" installation at . Patterns generated by @wizard 's awesome controller, and I used @jasoncoon 's very helpful pixel mapping program to extract the LED positions from a photo of the wiring. I'm getting super excited for Teardown now!

The back view of a denim jacket on a dresssmaker's dummy. The back of the jacket contains an assembly of 3D printed diffusers in triangle and quadrilateral shapes that form the outline of a phoenix. LEDs behind the pixels are displaying a series of illuminated patterns.

New work in progress. I will be exhibiting some illuminated denim jackets at , and am trying to finish two more to round out the collection. It was hard to settle on a design, but I finally chose one, and like how it is turning out. The LED string is taped in place right now, but once I hot glue it to the diffusers, this panel will be sewn onto the back of a jacket, then pixel mapped for a controller.

A geometric illuminated hummingbird-shaped panel constructed from a faux leather frame with triangular diffusers filling out the interior and rainbow LED patterns lighting up each triangular diffuser.

The hummingbird LED panel is now pixelmapped, attached to a controller, and sewn to the back of an LED jacket for display as part of a "Light Wash Denim" collection at in just over a week.

A denim jacket with a panel sewn to the back that is shaped like a hummingbird broken into small geometric shapes. Each shape is illuminated by LEDs and the assembly displays a series of colorful patterns.

This kind of bullshit should be illegal. Spotify is effectively remotely bricking every single "Car Thing" device it ever sold, telling users to factory reset and "recycle" them. The devices were initially made publicly available only two years ago in Feb 2022, then discontinued production in July 2022.

Thanks to @timonsku, I'm now backing up my Spotify Car Thing and preparing to flash this "Debian Chromium Kiosk" firmware to it, to convert it to a "Wall Thing". I'm thinking it might make a nice touch control panel for @octoprint or ?

Look at this cute couple of Cuttlefish! I created the first illuminated plushie to exchange with another maker and liked it so much I built another for myself. The controller makes it easy to coordinate patterns.

Two plush illuminated cuttlefish sitting best to each other on a sofa. They display a coordinated series of LED patterns which illuminate their arms and the periphery of their head.
