Inversion weather condition on a Black Forest summit, directly above the fog boundary.

A backlit photo taken on a Black Forest summit during an inversion weather condition: Fog lies in the valleys, and on the higher peaks, there is clear visibility. The mountainside in the foreground is partially covered with fog. The fog glows brightly yellowish in the sunlight. The dark silhouettes of some taller, solitary coniferous trees protrude from the glowing fog. In the background, the higher peaks of the Northern Black Forest can be seen.
