All Sorting tv show options works on #JellyFin#Roku except sorting by date played. Tried it with Roku app ver2.0.7 and sideloaded 2.0.6dev. Jellyfin ver 10.9.6 and 10.9.7
To replicate, go into a Library and pull up the sorting options and choose date played. neither ascending or descending does anything. All the other sort options work.
If you have an issue with a locked database and media scanning failing, Set Dashboard -> General -> Performance -> Set "Parallel library scan tasks limit" and "Parallel image encoding limit" both to 1
Did you know you don't need a @jellyfin client to watch your content? Jellyfin supports the #DLNA protocol making it easy to watch from any device with DLNA supports, which is many.
In #Jellyfin 10.9 we improved our DLNA integration by extracting it to a plugin. This way we can fix bugs and add features without waiting for a server update! You can also choose to disable DLNA entirely if you have no use for it.
A lot of newer Android-TV-Settop-Boxes are ready for AV1, for example products from Orbsmart.de like my Orbsmart S87L.
On that box is Kodi preinstalled and you can install everything from android-stores, also the Jellybin-client.
Don't forget: Jellybin is a very good open-source-software, but a client-server-system. So you need Hardware for the server-software.
