Happy New Year all you tooters and folk! I've decided to start a new photo thread for the New Year, even though I'm part way through a roll, and nowhere near up to date (early November, in fact). A row of 4 Vespa motor scooters in a row (a weird yellow, red, white and red again) on the edge of a road flooded with dirty brown water. Behind a hede on the other side is a grassy space and finally the walls of Kenilworth Castle. Colour photo.

EDIT: Maybe I should have add !

A ruined stone castle spreads across most of the upper part of this photo, with dark clouds above it. A band of winter trees in front is lit by the afternoon sun. A flooded field lies in the lower half, with bunches of reeds poking through, and a reflection of the higher castle towers in the muddy brown water.

    Road closed

    Road open!

    A damp road curves from bottom right to top left of this image; it has dashed white lines in the middle and double yellow lines on the left, by the pavement (sidewalk). Behind is shadow. Dominating the image is a set of objects including a red sign reading "ROAD CLOSED", three red and white cones and two yellow cones, plus a yellow barrier, all pushed to the side of the road, leaving it open for traffic.

    Post box from Victorian times.

    A red post box set in a red brick wall. The box is labeled V R at the top, indicating it was installed under the reign of Queen Victoria. There is a slot for letters labeled POST OFFICE, and a white label showing the pickup times (9 am if you're lucky!). At ghe bottom near the key hole is a white patch where a label has been partly removed.
