it is unbelievable that the murder of 7 western volunteers have completely removed the war crimes and murder of doctors, nurses, hospital staff, pregnant women and children in and around Al Shifa hospital.
I am glad that the world is seeing the lawlessness and true ugly face of Israel when it comes to their criminal plan to starve the Palestinians, but sadly, the major atrocities are being ignored and forgotten because of the fact that these victims were holding western passports.
I understand your feelings, because you are most certainly right about Western (usually white) lives having more weight than non-Western (usually non-white).
At the same time, I think that the killings of the WCK volunteers had some special characteristics that make it harder for Israel to brush off. The WCK operation was done with the explicit blessing of Israel, the volunteers were known as neutral, the vehicles were clearly marked, and 3 distinct strikes were done.
