Iran consulate in Paris cordoned off following report someone entered with an explosive
French police were intervening to secure the site.
Security services were alerted to the presence of a person suspected of carrying an explosive device. Paris police and the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI) secured the area.
According to the Paris public transport operator RATP, metro line 6 was closed at several stops in the area.
