🪔 For : a funerary stele with the insignia of a centurion from , . Dated to the 1st quarter of the 1st c. AD, it depicts a set of nine phalerae connected by a belt. 👉 It is now in the Archaeological Museum of , Croatia. 📸 me

🪔 Above phalerae are two partially chipped off bracelets (armillae), followed by the remains of two necklaces (torques), and a larger central wreath (corona). 🪔 The image is framed by two greaves (Lat. ocreae), while a centurion's rod (uitis) can be seen between the left greave and the edge of the monument. 🪔 The central phalera features the motif of the head of Medusa (gorgoneion), while another three figurative phalerae depict two portrait busts and the Roman she-wolf.
