I love using the 27C512 EEPROM for #Commodore#cartridges and ROM replacements. Is there any modern replacement available?
There doesn't seem to be a shortage of W27Cxxx right now, but it would be great not to have to rely on salvaged parts of shady AliExpress vendors.
The replacement doesn't need to be pin-compatible, as I like to do my own layouts. However, it should be electrically compatible and not too small, so I can still solder them easily by hand.
