How much you buy into this vision will undoubtedly depend on your predilection toward Musk and your sense of the difficulty of forging habitable communities on an uninhabitable world like Mars.
If nothing else the CEO of the top rocket company talking about rockets should be a point of discussion. In stead it's "does that say Elon Musk. Downvote! Hahaha I'm so great. Take that Musk"
This is cool for the small sat industry. It's a good sign that there's enough demand for another frequent rideshare orbit. Now we need more launch providers to catch up.
Article makes no mention that they’re reducing rockets needed, seems insane that 12 or more will be needed per Starship? This Mechazilla cradle seems like a tremendously stupid risk too. Wish SpaceX would get rid of their Nazi sympathizer CEO and show us how a private space company can be ran.
Interesting comment, care to enlighten us? Comparing SpaceX and Blue Origin isn’t really fair when one is headed by a Nazi sympathizer and the other a billionaire capitalist. Isn’t there another rocket company too?
