zero_gravitas , in Broome man accused of restraining children with cable ties pleads not guilty

The text of the article never actually mentions the ethnicity of the kids (interesting choice, ABC 🤔) that this shithead thought he could treat like animals but there is a photo and you will not be surprised.

Nath Mod , in The brand new Bayswater Station has officially opened

I drove past it, then tried to take the kids down. Only we didn't get there until after it had wound up at 3pm. Station isn't much different to what it was when only two platforms were open. There are still only two platforms in use, just platforms 1 & 4 instead of 1 & 2.

The big bridge of the Ellenbrook line to the centre of the Tonkin has also been finished and is a more impressive feat than the new station platforms.

Nath Mod , in Finally, after a long blockage, it's now legal in WA to take a plunger to a toilet or change a showerhead
@Nath@aussie.zone avatar

Wait, this wasn't legal? I've been told by my real estate agent in the past to change the tap washer myself. I knew I was within my rights to insist they do it, but to speed things along, I did the job myself.

I don't understand why they have such a large presence in policy decisions in this state.

💰

It's always money.

I reckon thats right, but i can't see where the money is coming in.

Maybe just political party donations. The media keeps on finding its super cheap to buy influence with Aus pollies. Maybe its that simple.

Politicians are so cheap. You see local councillors approving dodgy developments that net the building company millions being bought off by promises of a few thousand dollars worth of community donations to make the councillor look good for the next election (and of course whatever ends up in a brown paper bag).

Imagine what a minerals company with billions of dollars behind them can bribe "fund" with a rounding error on their profits?
