I think the current generation are very aware of environmental harms that will befall all in a few years & escalate.
They are aware of colonisation and the harm it has reaped in many countries in the past.
To know this and watch fellow human beings who have been abused and brutalised now be slaughtered, probably for fossil fuels, is too much.
